Vortix VPN Privacy Policy

Vortix VPN is a VPN client that lets you connect your device to a selected third-party VPN Gate/OpenVPN server.

Information we handle

We may process the following data in order to provide the app’s core features:

• Public VPN Gate server list data, including country, IP address, speed, ping, and session count.
• A locally cached copy of the server list to help the app load faster.
• Temporary OpenVPN profile data needed to start a connection.
• Network status information used to show whether the VPN is active.
• Your external IP address only when you tap the connection check feature.

What we do not collect

We do not intentionally collect browsing history, message content, photos, contacts, or payment details through the app.

How the VPN works

When you connect, your internet traffic is routed through the VPN server you selected. Like any VPN service, that remote server can observe the traffic it terminates. VPN Gate servers are volunteer-operated third-party endpoints.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Traffic is shared only with the selected VPN endpoint because that is the core function of the app.

Retention

Server list data may be cached locally to reduce loading time. Temporary connection data is stored only as needed to establish or manage the VPN session.

Security

Traffic between your device and the VPN tunnel endpoint is encrypted as part of the VPN connection.

Children’s privacy

Vortix VPN is not intended for children under 13.
