Connection fixes
VPN connection failed: common reasons.
A failed VPN connection does not always mean the app is broken. Often, the selected public server or the current network path is the problem.
The server is offline
Public servers can go offline without warning. If the server stops responding, the app may show a timeout or disconnected status.
The server is overloaded
When too many users connect to one public endpoint, new connections may fail or become unstable. Choosing another server is usually the fastest fix.
Your network blocks VPN traffic
Some Wi-Fi networks, offices, schools, or mobile networks restrict VPN protocols. Try another network if you repeatedly see connection failures.
Android VPN permission was not approved
Android requires user permission before starting a VPN tunnel. If permission is declined, the app cannot create the VPN connection.
Another VPN is already active
Android normally allows only one VPN tunnel at a time. Disconnect any other VPN app before trying to connect with Vortix VPN.
